Chimereader reads documents that you provide. We do not supply, host, sell or distribute any books, papers or other content.
You are responsible for the documents you open with Chimereader. By using the app you confirm that you own each document or otherwise have the right to use it in this way, and that doing so does not infringe anyone else's rights.
Documents you open are processed on your device. We do not receive, store or transmit them. If you enable iCloud sync, your documents are stored in your own iCloud account under your Apple ID; we have no access to that account.
If you believe content is being distributed through Chimereader in a way that infringes your rights, contact support@chimereader.com. Because we do not host user documents there is generally nothing for us to remove, but we will respond to every report and act on anything within our control.
Chimereader uses your device's speech synthesiser and automated layout detection. Pronunciation, reading order, and the handling of equations, tables and figures will not always be correct. Please do not rely on it as the sole source for anything consequential.
Chimereader is provided as-is. We do not guarantee that every document will read correctly, or that the app will be free of defects.
Chimereader is distributed through the App Store. Purchases, refunds and subscription management are handled by Apple under Apple's terms.
